About the event
Sam Lore is a New York based dancer and Choregrapher, who has performed with artists such as Shen Wei Dance Arts, Andre Miller, Brian Brooks, Dirty Churches, Chein-Ying Wang, and Micayla Wynn.
New York City recording artist Darren Hoffman is a guitarist and co-founder of New Orleans based Uncle Nef, band leader of the NYC trio gorgeous!; founder of Guava Records; creator of Myxstem; and a faculty member of The Florida State University.
Lore and Hoffman will be in residence at The HopBarn from 14th to 19th May 2023 and will present their latest work on Friday 19th May at 7pm.
Their new piece will be an evolution of a collaboration they have been developing since early 2022.
Lore and Hoffman's research process is interested in how minimal production can create a maximal sensory experience through an intentionally narrow scope of production. Their goal is to amplify and multiply connection…
